I can't believe this year is over! It has gone so quick!
I have learned so much from just this one year animating and has really made me feel that I am on my way to becoming a professional animator.
Although this year has been fun and a big learning curb for me, it hasn't been without its hardships as well. Living away from my home and family has been so hard and I have definitely been homesick a few times, not to mention I'm a country girl coming into a huge city, so I've had a bit of a culture shock as well!
However, overall I have had a wonderful experience meeting new people, learning new skills and even being pushed out of my comfort zone.
I've done things this year that I never thought I would be able to; like give presentations.
Even though I was still quite nervous about giving the presentation, it wasn't nearly as daunting as I had already done this before and just knowing that this would be a much smaller room made things feel a lot easier.
I wrote everything I wanted to say on sheets of A4 paper clipped together so that I would get them muddled around but in the end, it seems that I didn't need them. I don't remember looking down at my notes once and I felt so much more comfortable talking to a room of people, although I did notice that I was giggling a lot which was probably my brain dealing with the nerves.
I felt so much more relaxed about this presentation and even though I think I could have put a few more personal points into it I feel like it won't be so hard to do presentations anymore.
